Momirović emphasized that the electrification of certain railway sections in Serbia will continue, and that the procurement of new hybrid trains from Switzerland, which use both electric and battery power for sections that are not electrified, is also being considered. He noted that investments in the development of railways in Serbia are evident in the procurement of new high-speed trains from Switzerland, the introduction of new lines, and the expansion of the electrified railway network.
