photo: Archives/DB will need a new member of the Board. Who is leaving the company?
Leaving at his own request and having his achievements honored by DB CEO Richard Lutz and the Supervisory Board Chairman Michael Odenwald. We are talking about the infrastructure director Ronald Pofalla.
“For personal reasons, I intend to end my board mandate at DB AG on April 30 of this year. After more than seven years with the company, it's time to move on to the next chapter in my life. I am grateful to DB AG, under the leadership of Richard Lutz, for the past few years, in which we have been able to implement key things to implement the 'Strong Rail' in terms of digitization and the creation of additional capacity."
DB CEO Richard Lutz commented that Ronald Pofalla played a key role in shaping DB's “Strong Rail” strategy. He also recognized the opportunity of digitization early on and set the course. Both Lutz and Odenwald wish him all the best for the future.
