The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bahn AG, Michael Odenwald, will resign from his mandate at the end of July 2022. Odenwald announced on Thursday during a regular meeting of the supervisory committee in Potsdam. The fully qualified lawyer has headed the body since April 2018 and has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2012.

Michael Odenwald: "After careful consideration, I have decided to resign my mandate. After ten years of work on the Supervisory Board, it is time for a change. Deutsche Bahn is - regardless of all the current challenges - a great company for which I have always been very happy to be involved. I wish the Board of Management, all executives and especially the employees all the very best."
Michael Odenwald began his career almost 30 years ago at the Federal Ministry of Transport, where he rose to the position of State Secretary.
