Budimex, a leading Polish company renowned for its significant role in developing high-speed rail networks, has signed a contract to construct a state-of-the-art flight simulator and flight crew training center for the Ryanair Group in Krakow.

Valued at approximately EUR 9.6 million gross, this investment will create 150 new training positions in the aviation industry and enable the training of up to 500 individuals simultaneously. The facility is slated to be operational in 2025.

Under the contract, Budimex will have 12 months to complete the project, which includes the comprehensive implementation of the pilot training center building, featuring a simulator hall and administrative and social areas. "We are pleased that the contracting authority has recognized our experience and professionalism in carrying out projects in the aviation sector. The construction of the simulator and training center in Krakow is a key investment for the region, which has one of the most important airports in the country. We plan to complete the work in 2025," said Michał Osieka, Contract Director.

The new facility, located near Krakow's Balice Airport, will cover a total area of 4,620 m² and a volume of 23,250 m³. It will house 10 innovative flight simulators, creating more than 150 new jobs and training Boeing B737 pilots and Ryanair flight crews from across Europe.
