Alstom has announced the appointment of Mr. Tristan le Masne as Managing Director of Alstom Southern Africa, based in Johannesburg. He succeeds Bernard Peille, who has transitioned to lead Alstom’s Latin America cluster.
In this role, Tristan will assume full responsibility for the growth of Alstom’s portfolio in Southern Africa and will provide strategic oversight for the company's four entities in South Africa: Gibela Rail joint venture (JV), Alstom Rolling Stock South Africa JV, Bombela Maintenance JV, and Alstom Ubunye.

Tristan is a highly regarded leader with significant experience, previously holding the position of Vice President for Finance in Alstom’s AMECA region. Before this, he served as Vice President of Internal Audit and Internal Control in Paris, France. Tristan joined Alstom in 2009 and holds a Master’s in Management along with several leadership qualifications.
