Cooperation agreement signed by French company Alstom and Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering expecting cooperation on educating and developing the competencies of future engineers in the railway sector in Poland. The project includes an exchange of experiences, the application of research projects as well as extensive support for students.
The contract was signed on October 7, 2021, at Warsaw University.
Recently, the company has delivered its Coradia iLint hydrogen train to perform an inspection track at the rail institute in Żmigród. For the train, the body shells are manufactured at the Alstom Konstal site in Katowice, while the platform of the Coradia Lint diesel train family is produced in Chorzów, in the Katowice area.

Alstom Konstal site in the Katowice area is the main manufacturer of the trains' bodyshells while the Coradia Lint diesel trains are being assembled in Chorzów, in the Katowice area.
Among other facts, this agreement allows students to apply for internships and placements at Alstom's Polish sites that are considered beneficial for the Future of the Polish Railway infrastructure with its aim to develop relevant skills of future engineers in the railway sector of the country.
