By Alstom`s official press release: Airbus CyberSecurity and Alstom, a global leader in sustainable mobility, have signed a worldwide cooperation agreement on rail cybersecurity.The partnership will enable the partners to provide rail operators with solutions and services that combine Alstom's rail solutions and expertise with Airbus CyberSecurity's services and expertise in securing industrial information systems.

Airbus CyberSecurity will contribute to joint offerings with rail security monitoring services and solutions through its various security and incident response centers (SOCs). He will also contribute to security auditing and penetration and intrusion testing services, in particular through his CyberRange industrial systems simulation and testing platform.

Alstom brings its knowledge of the design, manufacture, operation and maintenance of railway systems to the partnership. The global leader in digital rail transport will also leverage its unique expertise in rail cybersecurity in recent years. Globally, Alstom has more than 13,000 employees working on digitalization in the rail sector, especially in the areas of signaling technology, intelligent mobility and cyber security.

In recent years, rail companies have developed ambitious digital strategies, especially to cope with the growing passenger numbers. They deployed and integrated information systems integrating IT, operational technology (OT) and the Internet of Things (IoT) in train, subway and tram control and monitoring systems, track signaling systems, and railway operations control centers. To protect their assets and ensure safe mobility for their customers, rail companies will be able to rely on solutions developed by Alstom and Airbus CyberSecurity for their industry.
